Danielle Kurtin

Originally from a fishing town in Florida, Danielle completed her BSc in Biology at Florida State University, MSc in Translational Neuroscience at Imperial College London, and PhD in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Surrey. Currently, Danielle Kurtin is a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial, where she will start her Imperial College Research Fellowship in August 2024. Her research centres on the development of personalised therapies for addiction, using non-invasive brain stimulation and psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Danielle’s longstanding commitment to supporting equity, diversity, and inclusivity has taken her from activism in the United States of America to her current position on the board of directors for UniArk, a registered UK charity.
