Brianna Austin

Brianna Austin is a Ghanaian master’s student at Imperial College London, studying Translational Neuroscience. Having earned a first-class undergraduate degree in Neuroscience BSc (Hons), Brianna is passionate about communicating neuroscience concepts to non-specialist audiences through her platform LayNeuroscience.

Furthermore, Brianna is assisting with the Automated Brain Analysis for timely and equitable dementia diagnosis (ABATED) study data curation at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health. Brianna is particularly interested in the application of machine learning, neuroimaging, and artificial intelligence in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and psychiatric disorders.

Lastly, Brianna is a Brain and Spine Foundation volunteer ambassador, which entails her raising awareness and participating in fundraising events for neurological conditions within local communities.
